The goal of the Personal Growth and Services Committee is to promote three of the Society’s Purposes: I. VI and VII. The committee encourages chapters to present programs to enrich the personal lives of members and to develop service projects to make a difference in the community.

This committee will address initiatives of our International President by promoting arts and humanities at chapter meetings and encouraging lifelong learning. Examples of this include sharing a poem or piece of artwork and presenting information on adult classes at local colleges or special interest workshops offered throughout the community.

Chapter projects will provide members the opportunity to serve their community by mentoring new teachers, supporting literacy and health issues, and other local needs.
