BACK

The Alpha State Membership Committee has the responsibility for establishing guidelines in the state by-laws and standing rules for membership including such activities as:

  1. Studying and make recommendations related to state organization's membership concerns.
  2. Encouraging active chapter recruiting practices.
  3. Facilitating the selection process of state honorary members and maintaining appropriate records.

The Texas State Organization Membership Committee will collaborate with International Society counterparts, Society leaders and other Texas state organization committees to provide Texas chapters with helpful infomation to assist in nurturing members, recruiting committed new members and educating our members and communities about the benefits and responsibilities of Society membership.

"Our committment to education is in fact why we were chosen for membership in The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International. With this honor comes:
  • Reward -Society membership empowers us through knowledge and professional development to reach our full potential.
  • Responsibility - Empowerment alone is not enough. It is up to each of us to take advantage of the many opportunities and connections afforded by the Society to explore, engage and yes, to actually change the world."
