An educational foundation, to be known as
ASTEF, (Alpha State Texas Educational
Foundation) was approved by members of the
Texas State Organization of The Delta
Kappa Gamma Society International at the
82nd Annual Convention in McAllen on
June 25, 2011.
The purpose of ASTEF is to provide funding
for activities that support professional
and personal growth of women educators in
Texas and promote educational excellence
for Texas students.
To the left are pictured the ASTEF Executive
Committee who also worked on the
development of the Educational Foundation.
Their good work is sincerely appreciated.
